'Enkel'
Nordic design, modular smart glasses
Enkel : 'Simple' in Danish
The name symbolizes both the minimalistic form of the glasses
and the convenient and trouble-free way they work.
Inspired by
Nordic, Scandinavian design objects.
Designed in Aarhus, Denmark
Enkel is assembled like wooden blocks, and it can be customized with different frames. The overall shape is inspired by classic glasses to avoid alienating people wearing smart glasses. The glasses come with a “half-mirror AR module” integrated into the temple. It is fully adjustable by the user to accommodate individual eye pupil distance and personal preferences.
Performance
'for the perfect view'
Enkel features a regular camera for taking pictures and videos, along with a pair of depth-sensing cameras to sense and recognize space, projecting perfectly aligned images for the user.

"When defining a new product category, it's crucial to start at the end of the journey and work backward. These concepts prioritize potential users and the environments they would be used in. Not only do they enhance real utility in people's lives, but this utility is grounded in realism. They are tangible products rather than overly futuristic, science fiction-like technology."
