Hey guys!
Working on this project was an enjoyable journey that was inspired by and based on the artwork "Light in the Attic" (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/OlXRw).
I learned a lot throughout the process, starting with modeling in Maya and working with fabric in Marvelous Designer. I also created fur for the rug using XGen and then unfolded the models in Maya to move on to coloring and texturing in Substance Painter. I faced challenges with shading and lighting in Maya, which I overcame, followed by rendering in Arnold within Maya. I completed the journey by compositing in Nuke and rendering the props in Marmoset.
