Falling Chips

This piece was created through the process of creative thinking. The influence derived from curled paint chipping off of a wall. I was intrigued by the 3D texture it formed while showing the inevitability of time.

During ideation I mainly focused on simple lines and sharp edges and corners. I wanted the design to portray somewhat of an illusion, which is evident in the curved pieces falling into each other. The texture that this piece creates is amazing in its ability to show endless movement.
