School's Out, Union County SC
On a Wednesday morning, the school superintendant announced over the PA system that everyone was
to immediately leave the premises and never return. Well, not really, but that is how it looked and felt at
Carlsan Elementary School. This is a small sample from the many images taken that afternoon in a deafeningly
quiet place once filled with a tangle of children and those who were called to teach them.
