DJ Sound 's Logo Concept
I began this project by sketching a (DJ's) hand on an LP. The point was to come up with logo elements that are easily identifiable with a DJ and an audio entertainment company - Hands on Deck became my choice.
I then imported the sketch in Adobe Illustrator and traced the hand using the Pen tool.
With the basic hand traced, I chose to add a skin tone rather than leave it as an outline. I also added shadows and shading.
To top off the design after I was satisfied with the shading and shadows, I added the company name and slogan
