Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and its employees have a rich history of serving in the community, collecting donations, and volunteering with local charitable causes. DART employees are generous with their time and compassionate about meeting the needs of others. With a focus on making the community a better place, the agency created DART Serves to formalize its corporate social responsibility platform.
DART’s Creative Services team used Adobe Illustrator to design the DART Serves logo and visual identity library. 
The DART Serves umbrella is providing a platform that allows us to: 
- Increase employee engagement and motivation 
- Attract and retain quality top talent and help emphasize that DART is a good place to work 
- Increase DART’s advocacy and customer base 
DART Serves is more than just a logo. The program is a comprehensive multifaceted corporate social responsibility strategy that incorporates volunteerism, community outreach, social responsibility and sustainability.  
DART Serves has provided structure to the agency’s goodwill efforts. The platform will serve the objectives of cross-functional teams including DART’s Business Innovation, Marketing & Communications, Transit Education, Community Affairs, Government Relations, Executive Office, Operations, with Human Resources taking the lead.  
  
DART has executed a three-phase approach to introducing the DART Serves concept that began in early 2020: 
Phase I - established the framework for success 
Phase II – employee roll-out and introduction 
Phase III – public launch and advertising
