These cutting boards were designed and made with repurposed wood in mind. During the Covid-19 pandemic I didn't have much access to supplies or materials so I decided to try and create some repurposed wood projects. 

Both of these cutting boards were salvaged from an old broken side table. I sanded the boards and filed to edges after cutting the shapes to give a rustic but clean look to the finished product. I also decided to experiment with acrylic pouring which is how I got the finish on the handle. Both boards were then final coated with a kitchen safe Osmo wood wax.
