DESCRIPTION: During the course of this project my role was to design a logo for a self- made chocolate company as well as three separate chocolate packages that complement each other. The goal was to create something that was very unique and high-end. I wanted to steer away from the norm of what a chocolate logo and packaging looks like and push the boundaries by aiming for a more higher end and modern looking chocolate logo/ package by incorporating a minimal look.
It was important to keep a consistent aesthetic. There are five different flavors of chocolate which are covered by a box so a person could buy them individually. The second package is a two-in-one which holds all five flavors and has a sleeve that showcases these bars in a Crayola box style. Third, I chose to make a miniature box that can hold smaller square chocolates. My pre-design process is what helped me the most including sketching, brainstorming ideas, and research, resulting in a successful logo and packaging design.
