Dirty John, season 2, chronicles the Betty Broderick story. This is a true crime story that made national headlines in the late 80's and early 90's. It is known as America's messiest divorce.

The main title sequence, using signifiers of marriage, an idyllic life, and tragedy, offers the audience a hint of where the story ultimately goes: a double homicide.

This piece was animated using Cinema 4D. It was rendered with Octane Render. After Effects was used to composite. Edit and final assembly were done in Premiere Pro.
