ReDi is a generative installation inspired by the Gray-Scott model of reaction diffusion, one of the most accurate mathematical representation of several physical phenomenas like chemical reactions, replication of viruses or propagation of fire; it's also used to describe animal skin pigmentation and much more. The installation is a visual homage at this mathematical model consisting in an upredictable visual trip through organic patterns and graphic design, a perpetual alternation between expansion and subtraction of elements in a closed enviroment.
It was presented at Fotonica Festival, part of the International Network for Audio Visual Performing Arts AV Node.
