I was contacted by a sewing Instagram page to design their page icon. They gave me a brief description of what they wanted for the designs based on the direction they wanted to take the page in the future.

So I set to work and created these early designs below.

I contacted the woman who ran the page the next day and showed her my early designs. We decide that we would try some more out there designs just to tackle it from another angle.

She added that she also wanted a few designs to incorporate a buttercup as that was the name of her sewing machine. Quite a cute concept I thought.

We had yet another meeting to discuss all the options thus far and came to the idea to blend all the ideas to create a logo that ticks all boxes. So I got down to it and gave her a wide range of designs, as you can see below, for her to choose from.

She loved a number of them but decided upon the one shown below. It was a bit of a long road but I'm so glad we got down to a few designs that she liked.
