La Macchia Group – Park City Credit Union Headquarters – Digital Signage Motion Design
I was thrilled when I was invited to join La Macchia Group's creative team in creating motion design for the various monitors to be integrated into this cutting edge architectural design project for Park City Credit Union's beautiful new headquarters branch in Merrillville, WI. From the Digital History Wall, which incorporated five circular monitors displaying aspects of the Credit Union's long history in its community, to lobby displays and conference room signage, this was a true collaboration between La Macchia Group and the Park City Credit Union Marketing team, resulting in a "Category's Best" Diamond Award for Brand Awareness from CUNA. These motion designs incorporate dynamic content updates through a cutting edge web application called aesend, which allows the videos to be updated simply and directly by PCCU's marketing team through a user-friendly interface.
"Initially, we looked at it as monitors and various forms of tech, and it didn't take very long for us to run into the obvious fact that that was only the tool. There was no color to it, there was no life to it. There was no real brand expression in it. It's literally like our buildings without the architecture. Anybody can build a box, but how do you make it come to life and be an exciting piece of architecture? That's what content is to technology."
