ART IN ISOLATION: A WEBINAR SERIES

ART IN ISOLATION
a webinar seires
Art In Isolation was a webinar series initiated by Sir Gerald Saavedra who envisioned the utilization of this quarantine's unused time for students to learn, engage, and cope with undesirable circumstances such as the viral status quo. With Reneé Legaspi as the Creative Creator, the CAS Council as the moderator, and Joe Cantos as the mograph renderer, the webinar was conducted fairly; impressive as t was only conducted by a few students of Malayan Colleges Laguna. Feast your eyes into the webinar's public materials.
Art In Isolation part 1
The concept depicts that of a neon-techno style paired with the squiggly oblong.
The video was made according to the music's cut. Kerning was animated to signify the liveliness in the in texts.
The texts were already bent in Photoshop, and the anchor point was the basis for the element's rotation around the center image.
This one-minute opening sequence takes about roughly 10 hours to animate in After Effects. The same animation principles were incorporated in the opening
Art In Isolation part 2
The concept depicts that of a glitchy distorted design paired with plastic wrappings.
I took a different approach for this episode's teaser reel since most of the artist's works are images. I also changed the aspect ratio to 1:1 to better suit the visual engagement of the engagement to the teaser from Facebook.  I utilized After Effect's camera tool to incorporate a teasing affection into the motion graphics. The oozing element was made out of scale wipe, 4-color gradient, smear, wave warp, and glitchify (by Cinema Space).
The assets were first done in Photoshop and they were exported to be reassembled in After effects. The "ART IN ISOLATION" along with the details for the event were animated by their position. The main text was glitchified using the displacement map liked to a glitched video canvass.
The assets were recycled from the last  VTR were used, and the glitchify effect, and the color scheme were incorporated in the video.
Art In Isolation part 3
The concept depicts that of a cut out of photographs paired with the incorporation of red and white colors. This webinar episode was conducted for two consecutive days.
Art In Isolation part 4
The concept depicts that of a 3D-2D elements paired with the teal and daffodil yellow colors.
