Danse Macabre
Traditional linoleum block print. I was heavily inspired by the woodcuts of Hans Holbein and current events from March-April 2020.
I started by drawing the design digitally, then did a laserjet transfer onto the linoleum block (and had to redraw some areas). The pink wash of paint is to see the positive areas easier. Cutting the block took around fifteen hours.

Test prints, and the main printing. Only 10 of the 15 I did turned out well enough to edition.
