A project from University studies aimed at the high end knitwear brand Barrie Cashmere. The work was inspired by woven fabrics, in particular to Bernat Kliens textural and colourful weaves. The strong sense of geometric pattern and diagonal theme were reflected through these knit designs. These fabrics were aimed for SS 21 therefore colours are inspired by a combination of trends and Barrie brands style. The fabrics were created using a combination of cotton and Merino wool to allow both a boldness colour and a luxury quality to be achieved.
