One of the things that Albers is known for is demonstrating how the same colour can appear different depending on the colour around it. I thought I’d try to experiment with that. I think the experiment failed.
The three vertical bars are Black (RGB 0/0/0), Mid-Grey (128/128/128) and White (255/255/255). The triangles are, from top row down, 0/0/255, 128/128/255 and 203/203/255.
