Podarcis muralis (common name: common wall lizard) is a species of lizard with a large distribution in Europe where is very common to observe.
Despite this, it's a reptile protected by the Berne Convention, drafted in 1979.
Although very common, I always like to photograph this species because of the many phenotypic differences between individuals.
All pictures were taken in northern Italy.
