But, even though you may desperately need an organ transplant, you still may not be a good candidate to receive one.

 

This brochure kit had to walk the fine psychological line of giving the reader comfort and hope, but without overpromising everything would be okay.

 

To approach this challenging task, I felt the best way to empathize with the patient's soup of emotions would be to incorporate real people and their real experiences – a real wait-listed patient, a real case manager, and a real success story.  I interviewed each of them.  You will find their quotes peppered throughout the brochure – ending with the success story.
