Branding
A museum that stands for hope deserves a brand identity that’s equally inspiring. So we created an identity for the new Holocaust Museum of Hope & Humanity based on a simple, but incredibly powerful gesture that represents love, unity and hope in every language and culture: a hug.
We created a versatile primary H icon made up of two symbolic figures locked in hope’s embrace. It lives on its own, within the word mark and as a mask to highlight powerful imagery. The color palette is a wide range of bold, bright and hopeful colors which can be used in virtually endless combinations and applications.
The H icon lives as as symbol of hope on anything from buttons to billboards and can even be brought to life through large scale art installations where the two figure forms stand independent, yet unite in a symbolic embrace when viewed in perspective.
