To my fortune, I had the best dormmates, I definitely had amazing experiences with each one of them. Someone that I miss and remember with a lot of love is Chisato, my roommate, we actually shared the same room. Chisato is a beautiful japanese girl that was learning about american culture and music. We were completely different, we even sensed scents in different ways, so our room used to smell something between cinnamon, vanilla and miso soup. She taught me some words in japanese and I taught her some in spanish, maybe a little bit of maya. We shared the differences between our cultures with no judgment and a lot of appreciation. Something that we did had in common was our love for classical music, so during springbreak we got tickets to go to the symphony orchestra at Sunset Center in Carmel. We had such a beautiful day by the sea and as everyday, we shared laughter, music and growth. Thank you for everything Chisato, you have a very special place in my heart.
