For our last and final project of the year, we created a masked within image. We exercised clipping and masking to give the effect of the blended images inside of the portrait. I also enjoyed the process of creation that took place making this. I found images that connected the words surrounding the portrait so the viewer can see the words and also feel the words. The ombre effect on the lines resemble the sunset masked within the project. In my eyes, these images that lie within  are most symbolic of the words on the outside. Being surrounded by nature is calming and gives me a sense of optimism and security.
