One of the interests I share with my boyfriend is Astronomy. He is currently majoring in Aero Space Engineering and I am hoping to be able to explore the universe with him. The award shows that I would want to share my rocket ship with him. In my eyes, he would be the best co-pilot on this adventure.
My vision for the award was to have it in a vector design, and to give the font a sci-fi style. I drew out every shape to make it fit together like puzzle pieces. At the same time, I was attempting to keep the look spherical in nature. I chose the colors based on the moon and toy rocket ships that are red and yellow. I wrapped the font around the rocket ship to give it a three dimensional feel. Finally, I turned the rocket onto its side to make it look like it is gliding above the moon.
I would like an opportunity to use my acrylic materials to make a physical copy to give to my boyfriend so we can embark on our adventure.
