The monster assignment was a fun project. The goal was to create a monster with depth and to show him integrated into the background. I decided to use a fuzzy texture and gradients to create depth with my monster, McFadden. I wanted the illustration to resemble something of a kids picture, so I used simple shapes and bright colors to make it fun to look at.
