Concept and styleframes for a 30' seconds promotional video for the Annual Wizards and Witches Mountain Retreat, hosted by Camp Cloakwood. This is a fictional overnight camp for adults to indulge in their childhood spooky fantasies. The main guideline was making the mood eerie while keeping it lighthearted and fun. This was the final project of the course, so my goal was combining my overall knowledge of design for motion.

Animation

I picture a dynamic animation with smooth transitions and a quirky steppy touch all along. The piece would be brought to life through a blend of keyframe animation and cel animation (preferably on 2s) for some elements (smoke, morphing wand, flipping book pages...) to add to the hand-drawn feeling of the design.
