There are billions of pieces of waste in the the world’s ocean. The waste consists such as metal, plastic and also glass. Not only it had polluted the ocean water which also causes the animals that are living in it. Despite the many campaigns out there that are trying to reduce plastic waste, people tend to still forgert the impact of plastic pollution.

Music has the power to shape society’s views and drive the conversations on issues that speak to our emotions. With indie music on the rise, we can bring the message of rreducing plastic waste in a more memorable way.

The recycles is an imaginary band that tours around that brings  message of “Reuse and Reduce” to the audience. Advance technology had been making it easier to produce music at home even with  just a DIY instrument. The Recycled made a DIY drums as one of the feature in the project to support anti-waste disposal movement. At the same time, the recycles will release albums, sell merchandise to raise funds and the money will be then donated to organisations responsible for the ocean’s cleanup.
