I have created An A3 poster to promote the 31st Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival. I was inspired by the colours, architecture, environment and luxurious lifestyle of Palm springs and wanted to pay tribute to these iconic aspects in my poster. Rizzo printing allowed me to use a colour pallet that channeled the vibrant, playful and boogie lifestyle of Palm Springs and its Iconic Mid Century Architecture.
Inspired by the wealth, lifestyle and parties of Palm Springs in the 70’s I created playful illustrations that add humor to the poster as they depict scenes of the exclusive and glamorous people that attended and threw these parties and events. In strengthening this piece of work I have expanded this project by creating mock ups that explore the potential of a campaign for this film festival.
