BUTTERFLY - COLOR STORY
the colors and patterns I observed on butterflies is what first drew me in.
They were vivid and almost surreal. The linear patterns and color placements also impacted my work.
Major colors are the near-neon turqouise and coolwater blue complimented with big splashes of poppy.
Golden honeydew is seen in a big way in this collection as well and lemon drop yellow is used as accents.
These bright and vivid colors are neutralized by a graphite, black and white.
Linear patterns and color and stripe placements inspired my prints for this collection.
The color placement on butterflies are prominent and I wanted this to be evident in my collection.
