As a commentary on hyper-curation of nature, I created a VR (virtual reality) museum composed of illustrated and photographic artifacts from the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
As a secondary level of the project, I overlayed the content with romantic poetry by Pablo Neruda to highlight humanity's emotional connection with the natural world. If you click objects in the museum it will generate a line of the poetry. A small series of gifs helps map it out.
