Self-Isolation

It’s no secret that staying in one’s home every day presents a challenge for creative photography.

Even so, there yet some subjects to be photographed. Photography during this season of quarantine has looked like a lot of still-life shots, a lot of standing on chairs and shooting down toward a table, a lot of holding things out with one hand and holding my camera in the other. And, ultimately, I can’t say I’m disappointed with how photo things have turned out.

Do I wish I had more going on on the other side of my lens? For sure. But, even so, I’m learning more and more to appreciate small details of everyday life.

Here are some favorite shots from this period of self-isolation.
