The Barge Carry-Out Container System
The prompt was to design a flexible, sustainable food storage system that is eco-friendly, and economical. I started to brainstorm around current carry-out containers that are used by a lot of Chinese restaurants. I wanted to use an existing material, so that I could focus on the forms and functionality of each container.
The Barge Carry-out Container System provides a beautiful way to transport meals. It has the support for stable stack-ability. It has an aesthetic to make any restaurants carry-out meals stand out. It can be used for any style of cooking, from Chinese to Mexican; from American to Middle Eastern.
