This brief was a live brief, asking for a name and logo to be created as well as other elements such as postcards, merchandise, posters and leaflets. The name i came up with once i have decided what type of cirucs i wanted to focus on. I picked the freak show circus, mostly the animal freak shows rather then human freaks. I decided on this from watching Oddities on television which infleunced the name a large amount.

 

The name Qwirks and Cranks came from market research. The logo i created to fit both the circus element of the brief and the museum side. I didn't want to create something to typical of a cirucs and from research into both helped create this final logo design.

 

I addition to this i created a brochure, explaining the musuem, merchandise with the logo design on it, tickets and images of how the inside of the museum might look.

 

The main element of this brief was to use typography as the majory element of the designs created and not to depend on images to much.
