THE BRIEF:
The client commissioned me to design a logo that would reflect its modern approach to learning and at the same time have a strong, robust and dependable brand. This was important as they were looking to change how people learned, from memorising lists, dates and information to actually learning new ideas and concept that can be applied multiple ways.

THE PROCESS:
We started with a discovery session for an hour, to discover what visual themes and ideas they wanted to be reflected and what makes them different. It was important that this logo looked strong and dependable as they were offering a very different service that would change how students learned and for this they couldn't look flat, thin or subtle, the logo needed to be a representation of the brand standing its ground and other people felt they could trust and rely on.

THE RESULT:
An abstract logo with a strong solid shape that represents the letter "G" derived from their name 'Finding Gravity'. The space filled is symbolic of a book with pages opening. The client wanted an abstract logo so as to create a symbol as opposed to a name for people to identify with, this achieved their goals of an abstract, robust yet modern logo for their brand. With elements from this logo that can be taken apart and applied to other touch points further enabling them to push their branding and brand awareness throughout their marketing.
