There was a time when I was only into mystery and thriller books (especially the ones with serial killers 😅) and the book that made sure it stayed that way for a long period was the classic "The Silence of the Lambs". This book was my first foray into serial killer mysteries. It was the first book (that I read) which had a killer perspective and it added a thrill to the story. I was spooked from the beginning till the end. I forgot to eat (one of my many happinesses) when I read this book. Though my preference for mystery has been replaced by other genres off late, this will always have a place in my heart!
