Tark attempted to imbue his hand-crafted glaive with the core of his ancestor’s legendary weapon. The ritual failed, the weapon shattering into hundreds of fragments. However, Tark could still feel a connection to the core of the weapon. At dusk, on the outskirts of the town, he summoned his reborn glaive. It thundered down from the sky in a ray of golden light, the impact having left the blade embedded in a small crater just a few feet in front of him.
