Sales App (with beacons)
This proof of concept was developed by Kokonut Studio for Steelcase. As the project leader, I was in charge of the idea, technical research and feasibility, as well as to work along with the iOS developer in order to deliver a great product for the client.
We installed several Estimote's beacons inside the showroom and adjusted their settings so its broadcasting power and advertising interval were optimal to work properly. Every time a client enters a designated area, the iPad prompts its information (product, material, description). The client can save the info for later (an automated email is sent) or review the product's specs immediately. When the client walks into another area, the iPad change the information automatically thanks to the beacons.
The product was showcased for a year in the new Steelcase showroom and replicated to another showroom in the U.S.
