Since April of 2008, my work has been displayed in NYC on billboards, buses, buildings, with a concentration in Union Square Subway station at 14th Street in Manhattan. The work has been up every April and September for Filene's Basement, who has their flagship store on 14th Street. April shows the Spring Fashion Trends and September, of course, is Fall.
The liveliness of the figures works with the passing of New Yorkers through the subway tunnels, adding a colorful backdrop of motion.
CBS Outdoor Advertising has discovered many of the non-framed large scale posters (affixed directly to the walls) missing figures, when someone will come by and take a box knife and cut out a figure to take home. Maybe this should be flattering.
