INTRODUCTION
A term project, where a Haute Couture garment is recreated in the aspect of surface design, inspired by art from.
The garment chosen is a fine piece by Russian designer duo Azzi & Osta. The collection is inspired by their rich Russian heritage. The garment is very modern, which is structured and flowy at the same time.
The art form taken as an inspiration is RAYONISM which is a modern art form originated in Russia, developed out of other modern art forms namely cubism, futurism and such.
Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova are some of the well-known artists famous for their work of Rayonism art. The artworks are mainly inspired by speed, technology, and modernity, depicting characters of the early 20th century, advancements in technology, values of significant elements, in bright intersecting lines "rays".

CONCEPT
“supernova” is a cosmic theory of a star exploding into a burst of gas and particles and brilliant lights. this eventually leads to the formation of a black hole which itself is very destructive and consumes other stars and planets.
