"Trolley for La Ricarda House"

"Icco" was created to mimetize itself with the space around it.
The space? La Ricarda. A house filled with architectural value and history.

This project started with the need to create some pieces of furniture for La Ricarda, also known as The Gomis House. A house built between 1949 and 1956 outside Barcelona by the architect Antoni Bonet Castellana and for the Gomis-Bertrand family.
The brief for my work group was to create a drinks trolley for inside and outside the house that would mimetize itself with the existing furniture and space and at the same time bring modernity to the house and satisfy the needs of the owners and their lifestyle.

"Icco" was the result, and is a piece of furniture created with the same geometries of the house that was at the same time practical and stilysh.
