My contribution to the "…overheard" project printed at the Common Press letterpress printing studio at the University of Pennsylvania, spring 2008. I designed the card pictured as well as the cover. They were printed in an edition of 24. The project collected snippets of overheard conversations and collected them into a set of cards.
The cards were printed on a Vandercook SP 15 letterpress—the same letterpress I was responsible for operating the following spring as the typography classroom assistant.
My text came from a lecture on the many sub-genres of cyber-punk. It is in reference to Neal Stephenson's post-cyberpunk novel, Snow Crash.
