Welcome Pavilion Milano

ISOLA DNA - the welcome Milano pavilion
For this studio we had to design a lightweight, flexible, sustainable pavilion. We decided to design 6 independent "columns" at the needed places of the square. We did some analysis, which function would be necessary in the area, which are the ones missing. The shape of the columns are parametric design, with indicators like the heights, use, second level. On top of some of the pavilions there is a terrace as well, because we wanted to give a second level, on top of the trees, to give the opportunity to be alone, away from the noise of the city. The canopy is suppose to be a layer, which helps give shade for this square in sunny times.
