BRIEF-
EVENT BACKGROUND
The NBA All Star weekend has been held since 1951-2019 with 68 all star games being held in an ever changing city, where the best players from the NBA battle it out in an explosive competitive game, pulling out all the stops to WOW the fans. In addition to this two other games are held across the weekend; The Rising Stars game where rookies from the league compete in a USA vs Rest of the World format and a Celebrity All Star game where two. Teams of celebrities ranging from ex professional basketball layers to the Justin Beibers of the world pay a full game of basketball to appeal to the less professional audience.
OBJECTIVE
Create a set of promotional graphics that present the event in a thrilling, modern way using illustration and an attractive technique to bring people from across the world to tune in.
TARGET
Male international super fans raining from 12-25 years of age who see the athletes as idols and strive to become like them.
PROBLEM
Fans from across the world believe that the All Star weekend is to attract new fans that do not have much knowledge of the game however it is to celebrate the skills and athleticism of the players and to entertain new AND hardcore fans in a traditional and exciting way.
OUTCOMES

I intend to create a set of promotional graphics that cover promotional posters consisting of carefully chosen lettering, an effective background andenergetic illustrations that appeal to the super fans of the sport.
These graphic will be seen on billiards, large scale posters and screens in the event stadium.
