Design of a Blender-cum-Cutter

This is a novel design for a Blender-cum-cutter as a part of coursework 'Design for Manufacturability'. This device is quite user-friendly; when we want to change from blending to cutting operation, we don't need to change blades. Rather, we just invert the jar and we can change the mode of operation. I took up the charge of designing the entire system on Solidworks and come up with comprehensive drawing package with proper GD&T as per ASME 14.5Y standard.

All the material selection, manufacturing method analysis, DFA analysis, order of magnitude estimates, cost estimates and assembly time estimates were documented in a final report.
