The brief for this campaign outlined a competition that would incentivise shoppers to buy iconic local and enter to win a trolley filled with their favourite iconic South African brands. Our look and feel was strongly informed by the bright colours and bold illustration style of township barbershops, local community markets and the bright colours present on the branding of SA brands like Chappies, Sunlight, Simba and others. Our communication aimed to instill a sense of pride over some of the country’s most-beloved brands and aimed at a more colloquial style that is familiar to South African shoppers.
