As an assignment, I created a sample print type specimen for Adobe Devanagiri, a font that caters to both Hindi and English. This was printed on an A3 sized paper to open like a booklet. For the cover, I combined the English and Hindi alphabets for the sound ‘R’ since that it one of the common alphabets in the languages. I tried to stick to colours that can be associated with India, trying to draw a balance between vibrancy and more subdued hues. The hierarchy was kept simple and clear to present information clearly.
