Time Traveling Blues ( in the City of the Watcher ) the second novel in Andrew M. Reichart's Weird Luck Trilogy. It's a far-out science fiction novel. The author wanted something from the book illustrated which I read and distilled this "prop" from one of the weirdest parts of the book.
