The final assembly was conceived as an abstraction of an illustrated narrative scroll, allowing the viewer to slowly travel in and out of different moments while walking alongside the wall-length piece.

Each week of iteration involved introducing new components and materials, as well as limits on number of paint colors and masks. Initial studies were performed on 11/17 paper, moving up to larger pieces of scrap wood and finally a 20 foot roll of paper.
