Double-H PHANTOM RIDER

The sole design was an adaptation from a previously unused sole concept. Various elements were added to improve the utility and appeal of the sole package.

It should be noted that the name concept "Phantom Rider" was introduced in the middle of development. I had originally proposed calling this collection the "Overhaul" or "Redline" series.

"Redline" (meaning to drive a car engine at or above its rated maximum rpm)

"Overhaul" (meaning to change something completely in order to improve it; typically referring to automotive engine maintenance) was a name that I felt fit quite well thematically due to the extensive efforts we were making to 'overhaul' the Double-H brand with this new package.

However, I felt that the new "Phantom Rider" title required some reworking of various elements in the boots. The Fall 2020 line was already solidified by the time development began on the updated designs, so stay tuned for the Spring 2021 line...
