A worksheet-themed type specimen for the classic typeface "Avenir", celebrating the geometrically perfected yet humanistic aspects of its design. The letter 'O', which was the first character Frutiger worked on when he was constructing the typeface, became the basis of how the rest of the characters were created. To the naked eye, it appears as a perfect circle from afar, but upon closer inspection, has several adjustments made to give it a more human touch. Thus, the letter 'O' is used as a common motif throughout the type specimen. A worksheet contains both the perfectly typed print and the irregular handwriting of a person. Following this notion, the format of a worksheet was used to convey the geometric precision and humanist characteristics of Avenir.
