My vision for the Hidalgo County Festival of Lights event that happens annually, locally, the month of December. This was for an assignment during my graphic design bachelors program at Full Sail University. 

I wanted to give the logo a fun and holiday-like twist. Using a mix of calligraphy and bright, festive colors, I was able to make the logo pop. Below is my vision for the logo, and some mock-ups for the client to see what it would look like in different forms.
