I've always loved Shakespeare. In high school, I was apart of the theatre program and my first audition was for Macbeth. To my surprise, I got in and was cast as my top choice, one of the witches. A few years later, I was cast as a witch in The Rude Mechanicals Macbeth (a Washington theatre company) a second time and not only did I act, I created the promotional trailer for the show for advertising purposes. The images below are still frames from that video. The actors are Geoff Elliott (Macbeth) and Megan McLaughlin Johnson (Lady Macbeth).

The illustration above is my interpretation of a Macbeth book cover or poster design if I ever am asked to design it in the future. As my inspiration, I used the colors from the Rude Mechanicals production. 

The typography was the most fun to play with because I wanted to somehow depict Macbeth's fall from power.
